On 05-01-08 at approximately 11:08 pm, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Brandon Britt, 18yr old w/m, of 141 E Market St #903.  Mr. Britt got into an argument with his mother’s boyfriend and stabbed him in the left arm with a pocket knife.  The victim, Tommie Collins, is being treated at the Johnson City Medical Center.  Mr. Britt is charged with Aggravated Assault.  He is being held at the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $50,000 bond.  He is scheduled for arraignment in General Sessions Court on 05-05-08 at 1:30 pm.

     On 05-01-08 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Melissa Gail Milhorn, 30 yr old w/f, 1011 Justus Dr., Johnson City, on a charge of filing a false police report.  The arrest was the result of an investigation in which Ms. Milhorn reported to police that she had been the victim of an armed robbery while parked in the parking lot of Shell, 607 Twin Oaks Drive.  The investigation revealed that no robbery took place.  Melissa Milhorn turned herself in at the Washington County Detention Center, where she is being held on a $5,000 bond.  A court date is set for 05/05/08, at 1:30 pm, in Washington County General Sessions Court.

On Wednesday, 04-30-08, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Dustin J. Lyons, W-M, 01-11-84, 297 Cripple Creek Loop, Watauga TN. charging him with Aggravated Assault and Auto Burglary. The arrest came after the investigation into an Auto Burglary that occurred on 04-27-08 at 3022 Peoples Street, Rugged Warehouse. Lyons was transported to the Washington County Detention Center under a $15,000.00 dollar bond and is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on Thursday, 05-01-08 at 10:00 AM.

On 04/30/08 at approx. 2025 hours, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Mark Hurst, 49 yoa, of 305 W. Watauga Ave, Johnson City, and charged him with being a Fugitive from Justice.  Mr. Hurst is wanted out of North Carolina where a warrant for his arrest was issued for Violation of Probation.  Mr. Hurst was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held on a $10,000 bond.  He is scheduled to be arraigned in General Sessions Court on 05/01/08 at 1330 hours.

     On 04-30-08 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested four individuals in connection with the robbery of Regions Bank, 1212 E. Watauga Ave. JC.  The investigation revealed that Daniel W. Rouse, 27 yr old w/m, 3805 Geta Rd, Knoxville Tn, was the person who entered the bank on Monday, 04-28-08, and demanded money.  The investigation also revealed that three other individuals were waiting less than a block away in a get-a-way vehicle.  Driving the vehicle was Timothy R. Cameron, 24 yr old w/m, 299 McClelland St., Bluff City TN.  Also in the vehicle were Heather Collins, 23 yr old w/f, 199 Brethren Church Dr., Jonesborough TN, and Keisha R. Lafleur, 19 yr old w/f, 119 Fitzsimmons Rd, Elizabethton TN. 

 

     Additional charges were also placed on Daniel Rouse and Timothy Cameron after a separate investigation revealed they were responsible for breaking into a residence on Plymouth Rd in Johnson City.  Both Rouse and Cameron were charged with Aggravated Burglary, Theft of Property over $1,000, and Fraudulent use of a Credit Card under $500.

 

     As officers attempted a traffic stop on Daniel Rouse he stopped his vehicle and ran on foot.  He was apprehended a short distance later.  Mr. Rouse was charged additionally with Evading Arrest and Resisting Arrest.  A records check revealed that Mr. Rouse was wanted by the TN Board of Probation and Parole on a Parole Violation Warrant.

 

     All four individuals are currently incarcerated in the Washington County Detention Center awaiting arraignments.  Rouse and Cameron are both being held under $60,000 bonds each.  Collins and Lafleur are both being held under $50,000 bonds each.  All four have an arraignment date of 05-01-08 in Washington County General Sessions Court.

Health Dept and Woodridge Hospitals.  Mr. Bailey is being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $10,000 bond.  He is scheduled for arraignment in General Sessions Court on Tues 04-29-08 at 9:00 am.

            On April 29, 2008, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested 25 year old Kevin Dishman, 120 Reeser Rd, Johnson City, TN 37601, on charges of Strong Armed Robbery.  The arrest is the result into an investigation of a female being approached and demanded to give Mr. Dishman her purse after he attempted to enter her vehicle while she was in it.  Dishman is currently being held at the Washington County Detention Center with a $50,000 bond while awaiting his arraignment hearing on 05-01-08 at 9:00 a.m in Washington County Sessions Court.

             On Tuesday, April 29th, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Mr. Juan Cruz-Cruz, DOB 05/29/1982, currently residing at 2105 N. Greenwood Dr. #85, on charges of Forgery and Driving on a Revoked License. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop when officers stopped a Chevrolet Cavalier for speeding. When asked for identification the driver provided officers with what was later identified as a fake Resident Alien Card, fake Social Security Card and a fake Mexican Driver’s License. The driver was identified as Mr. Cruz-Cruz and after a check of his driving history it was revealed that his License is currently Revoked for a DUI charge in 2006. Mr. Cruz-Cruz was arrested and is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $2,000 bond with an arraignment set for Thursday, May 1st, 2008 at 0900 in the Washington County General Sessions Court.

The arrest was the result of a report where the victim reported 2 checks and a credit card stolen on 04-01-08. On 04-28-08, Investigators of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Jerry D Blevins Jr, DOB 06-21-86, of 426 Lamont St Apt B, Johnson City on the charges of Burglary and Theft under $500.00.  The arrest came as the result of an investigation into a burglary reported at Mr. J’s Furniture, 2905 S Roan St, Johnson City.  Blevins was being sought on outstanding warrants in an unrelated incident when he was apprehended by police Monday afternoon.  He was placed under arrest and transported Washington County Detention Center where, in addition to the burglary and theft charges, he was charged with an additional count of Theft over $500.00.  This charge stemmed from the theft of money from a Subway restaurant at 1922 S Roan Street, Johnson City where Blevins was briefly employed.  Blevins is scheduled to appear for arraignment in the Washington County General Sessions Court on 04-29-08.  He is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center under $16,000.00 bond.

     On 04-25-08, Investigators of the Johnson City Police Department arrested a white male subject identified as Marshall Lynn Hodges, (03-11-1981), 235 Cedar Valley Rd., Gray, TN on a charge of one count of Strong Armed Robbery.  The arrest is a result of an investigation into a Robbery that occurred in the parking lot of 409 S. Beech St., Johnson City where approximately $240.00 was taken from the victim.  Hodges is the second individual arrested in this case for Robbery.  Hodges will have a court date in the Washington County General Sessions Court on 04-29-08 @ 9:00 a.m..  His bond was set at $50,000.00.

            On January 16, 2008 Officers of the Johnson City Police Department responded to vandalism at 1 Unaka Ct. #3.  The suspect was reported to have broken all of the victim’s car windows.  After an investigation a warrant was filed for William Brian Deel Jr.  He was arrested on April 28, 2008 in Sullivan County for this warrant.  Deel a 52 year old male, 09/13/1955, of 1292 Ryder Church Rd.  is charged with felony domestic vandalism.  He is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond, and is scheduled to appear in court on April 28, 2008
