On Thursday¸ June 30, 2010 officer(s) of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Robin E Nitsche, 46, of 1740 Nathaniel Dr, Johnson City, TN. 37604.  Mr. Nitsche is charged with one count of Aggravated Assault Domestic.  Mr. Nitsche was transported to the Washington County Detention Center for processing.  Mr. Nitsche is being held pending a bond hearing with an arraignment set in Washington County General Sessions Court on July 6  2010 at 0900hrs.

      On June 30, 2010, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Marcy K. Plumlee, 38 yr old female, 828 Pardee St., Johnson City, TN on an outstanding warrant charging her with Theft of Property over $1,000.00.

 

      The arrest stems from an investigation into the theft of rental property from a local appliance rental store.  Ms. Plumlee rented two appliances from the business in February 2010 and failed to return the property and/or make payments on the merchandise as per the rental/lease agreement. 

 

     Ms. Plumlee is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $10,000.00 bond.  She is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on July 01, 2010, at 9:00 am.

               On 06/30/10, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Brittany D. Richardson, w/f, 05/14/90, 1402 Ranch Rd Johnson City, TN 37601. Mrs. Richardson is charged with Theft of Property over $1,000.00. The charge comes after an investigation into the theft of a motor vehicle that occurred at 1608 Ferrell Rd on 06/23/10. Mrs. Richardson is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Facility on a $10,000.00 bond and scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on 07/01/10 at 1:30 am.

On 06/29/2010 Officers of the Johnson City Police Dept arrested Henry Jackson Williams, Jr, 42yrs of age, of 2611 Browns Mill Rd, Johnson City, for Aggravated Burglary. Williams was discovered in a house at 7 Llewellyn Wood after gaining entry by breaking out a back window. Williams was placed under arrest for Aggravated Burglary and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where Williams is being held in lieu of a $20,000 bond. Williams is scheduled to appear in Washington County Sessions Court for a preliminary hearing on 07/01/2010.

     On 06/30/2010 officers of The Johnson Police Department arrested Issac H. Whitson, D.O.B.06/22/1989, residing at 808 Swadley Rd. #6. Mr. Whitson was arrested on the charge of aggravated burglary. Mr. Whitson was found inside a residence by the occupants. The occupants held Mr. Whitson until officers arrived. Mr. Whitson had made entry through the front door and was found in the bathroom. Mr. Whitson was placed under arrest for aggravated burglary. Issac Whitson is being held on a $20,000.00 bond. Mr. Whitson is scheduled to appear at Washington County Sessions Court on 07/01/2010 at 1:30p.m.

      On June 29, 2010, officers of the Johnson City Police Department responded to 803 Long St, #1, Johnson City, in reference to a death investigation.  Upon arrival officers found the body of 33 yr old Dashi Deas deceased inside the residence.  The death appeared to be the result of a lengthy illness in which Ms. Deas had been suffering.  There is no foul play suspected in Ms. Deas’ death.  A decision is pending by the medical examiner as to whether an autopsy will be performed.  The investigation is continuing at this time.

On 06-29-10 at approximately 4:00 A.M. officers of the Johnson City Police Dept. responded to the report of an auto burglary at 293 Austin Springs Rd. A witness advised that a maroon Dodge Neon was observed leaving the scene of the burglary. Officers located and stopped the vehicle in the area and determined that the driver and passenger, ages 16 yrs. and 17 yrs, were the suspected auto burglars. Both male juveniles were arrested and charged with Auto Burglary, Driving While Unlicensed and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both juveniles were placed in the Juvenile Detention Center pending a preliminary hearing, to be set at a later date, in Johnson City Juvenile Court.

     On 6/28/10 Officers of The Johnson City Police Department arrested Jason B. Barber, D.O.B. 11/21/1978, residing at 2709 S. Roan St. The arrest came after an investigation where Mr. Barber allegedly threw several large pieces of glass at a juvenile subject. Mr. Barber apparently had got in an argument with a subject that lived at the juvenile’s residence. Mr. Barber became angry left the property and threw these large pieces of glass towards a small juvenile. Jason Barber was transported to the Washington County Detention Center for aggravated assault. Jason Barber is being held on a 20,000 dollar bond. Jason Barber is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on 6/29/2010 at 1:30p.m.

     On June 28, 2010 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested EXPUNGED RECORD.  The arrest is the result of an investigation into the sexual assault of a juvenile which occurred at a Johnson City residence on June 15, 2010.  EXPUNGED RECORD was charged with one (1) count of Sexual Battery by an Authority Figure.  EXPUNGED RECORD is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $50,000.00 bond.  He is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on June 29, 2010 for arraignment.

     On Sunday, June 27, 2010, Sean J Arnold, 603 Cedar Avenue Elizabethton, TN, a 37 year old was arrested by officers of the Johnson City Police Department and charged with identity theft. The arrest stems from an investigation of a possible door to door scam by Arnold. It was determined that Arnold had used another individual’s personal information during the investigation and he was subsequently placed in custody. Arnold was also a wanted subject out of Carter County, TN. He was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County General Sessions Court on June 28, 2010.

On 06/10/2010, officers responded to 1902 Indian Ridge Road in reference to an assault. Upon arrival, officers met with the residents who stated that a Hispanic male entered their home and threatened them with a small firearm. According to the residents, the Hispanic male was run out of the home after one of them began to fight back with a baseball bat. During this altercation, a single shot was fired by the Hispanic male, but no one was injured. Officers began to investigate and learned the identity of the Hispanic male. He is Everardo Arreola aka Roberto Perez (W/M, 03/08/1983) of 109 Whitney Street, Johnson City, Tennessee 37604. Arreola is currently in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $35,000 bond. Arreola is charged with Aggravated Burglary, two counts of Aggravated Assault and three counts of Reckless Endangerment. Arreola’s arraignment is set for 06/28/2010 at 1:30 p.m. in the Washington County General Sessions Court.

On 06/28/10 at approximately 02:33hrs, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Gilberto Martinez (DOB09/07/1977 address: 611 Cranberry St.  Johnson City, TN 37601).  The arrest was a result of a call into 911 where the suspect was throwing objects and demonstrating violence in the neighborhood.  The suspect slammed the top and side of a vehicle, parked on the street side, with a large object.  The suspect was apprehended and arrested for Felony Vandalism and Public Intoxication and is being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $10,500.00 bond.  A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 06/28/10 at 1330hrs in General Sessions Court.
