     In November 2010, officers of the Johnson City Police Department met with representatives of Tri-Cities Skin and Cancer in reference to theft. Officers learned that a former employee, EXPUNGED RECORD, embezzled several thousands of dollars from the business by creating checks, cashing them and using the company’s credit accounts for non work related purchases. On 12/28/2010,  EXPUNGED RECORD was arrested for these incidents.  EXPUNGED RECORD  is currently held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $100,000 bond. She is charged with four counts of Criminal Simulation, five counts of Forgery, five counts of Theft over $500, one count of Theft under $500 and two counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.  EXPUNGED RECORD arraignment hearing is set for 12/30/2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Washington County General Sessions Court.

     On December 28, 2010 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested two males in connection with the burglary of two Johnson City businesses.  Cory Carnella, 21 yr old male, of 413 Lambeth Dr., Johnson City and  Expunged Record  were arrested and charged with several offenses.  The arrests occurred after the suspects’ vehicle was observed in the area of one of the burglaries and the vehicle failed to stop for police who had initiated a traffic stop.  During the incident, the vehicle driven by Mr. Carnella, attempted to strike two Johnson City officers.  A third officer was struck by the suspect vehicle and was treated for injuries he received in the incident.  The suspects were apprehended after their vehicle lost control in the area of Carroll Creek Rd and Emerald Chase and collided with a guard rail.  Both Mr. Carnella and  Expunged Record were treated and released from local hospitals.  Mr. Carnella and  Expunged Record  were charged with two counts of Burglary, three counts of Aggravated Assault, two counts of Felony Evading and two counts of Reckless Endangerment.  Both are currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of $100,000 bonds and are scheduled to appear in Washington County Sessions Court on December 30, 2010.

On December 24, 2010 at approximately 1554 Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Johnny R. Garland, W/M, age 35 of Limestone TN for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle (TCA 39-14-402). The arrest stemmed from an investigation of an auto burglary at 3222 Peoples St. on December, 24 2010. Johnny R. Garland was placed in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $10,000 bond with an initial appearance set in Washington County Sessions Court on December 27, 2010.

     On 12/22/10 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Morris Wyatt Sr, W/M, DOB 02/24/59, 300 Marbleton Rd, #5, Johnson City TN and Keaton Tyler Corn, W/M, DOB 01/29/91, 300 Marbleton Rd, #6, Johnson City, TN for Burglary. At approximately 6:00pm officers responded to Lowes Home Improvement at 180 Marketplace Blvd to a report of a theft from an automobile. A witness identified a suspect vehicle as a red Ford F150 pulling a small trailer. A short time later the suspect vehicle was observed cruising the parking lot at 3211 Peoples St in front of Petsmart. The vehicle was stopped and after a brief investigation, the stolen items from the Lowes theft were recovered from the bed of the same red F150. Further investigation showed that Wyatt and Corn took the items from the vehicle at Lowes. Both suspects were arrested without incident and transported to the Washington County Detention Center. Wyatt and Corn are being held under a $10,000.00 bond each. They are scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County General Session Court on Friday, December 24th at 9:00am.
