On 01/12/12, Officers responded to 1801 E Myrtle Ave. in reference to a theft of metal from a yard. The victim, an appliance repairman, stated that several pieces of metal had been taken from his yard. The victim later located the metal at Omni-Source, 110 Perma R Road. The suspect who sold the metal to Omni-Source was identified as Samuel A. Ojeda, W/M, DOB 01/13/90 of 150 Banner Rd., Erwin, TN 37650. He was charged with Theft over $500 and 2 counts of Theft under $500 and held at the Washington Co. Detention Center on a $7,000 Bond. He was scheduled to appear in court Monday, 01/23/12.
