On Sunday, January 22, 2012, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Timothy Blackmon, 18, W-M, 512 Swadley Rd. Apt. # 68 Johnson City, Tn. 37604, charging him with Possession of Schedule I drugs for resale, Possession of Schedule VI drugs for resale, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest is the result of officers checking a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a closed business on W. Walnut St. Upon making contact with Mr. Blackmon, officers observed drug paraphernalia and a subsequent search yielded a substantial amount of drugs. Mr. Blackmon was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he his being held under a $21,000 Bond. Mr. Blackmon is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions court on Monday, January 24, 2012, at 9:00 AM
