On January 7, 2013, at approximately 2240 hrs, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department were dispatched to 2100 West Market, Taco Bell, on the report of a male subject that had passed a counterfeit $50.00 dollar bill. The 911 caller advised that at the time of the call the suspect was still in the drive thru, as I arrived on the scene the suspect vehicle speed away going west on Market St. The vehicle was stopped at the intersection of West Market St. and N. North. The driver was identified as George K. Ferguson, DOB 09/24/1967 and residing at 1707 Mary St. He was arrested for Criminal Simulation and transported to the Washington County Detention Center. He is being held on a $10,000 dollar bond and has an arraignment set for Monday the 7th at 9 A.M.  in Washington County General Sessions Court.
