On Tuesday, January 15th, 2013, at approximately 7:05 am, officers of the Johnson City Police Department responded to the area of 3130 Rocky Top Rd in reference to vandalism. Through an investigation, officers identified 47 year old Tommy F. Griffin of 131 Mason St., 1-E, Greenville, TN as the suspect. Mr. Griffin was charged with Felony Vandalism and General Trespassing. Mr. Griffin was arrested without incident and transported to the Carter County Detention Center. Mr. Griffin is being held on a $4,000 dollar bond while awaiting his preliminary hearing on February 4th, 2013, at 9:00 am in Carter County General Sessions Court.
