Subject: Felony Arrest Approved By: Sgt. Don Shepard
On 02-05-13 and 02-06-13, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested two additional defendants in connection with a 2011 murder case. Ginger Holtsclaw (28), no address available, and Ashley Harold (29), no address available, were both served with indictments out of Washington County Criminal Court charging them with Felony First Degree Murder. The arrests came as the result of the ongoing investigation into the 2011 murder of Gary Couch, who was found shot to death on Quarry Rd. in Johnson City. Justin "Puff" Stratton was initially charged with murder and other charges and is currently awaiting trial. Both women are being held in the Washington County Detention Center under $100,000.00 bond and are awaiting appearances in Washington County Criminal Court.
