On 02/05/13 at approx. 1000 hours, officers arrested Steven F. Thompson, 47 yoa, of 382 Kitzmiller Rd, Gray, TN, after he was apprehended by loss prevention personnel from Target, 2116 N. Roan St, attempting to leave the store without paying for a Dyson vacuum cleaner valued at $399.00.  Further investigation revealed that Mr. Thompson had previously stolen two other Dyson vacuum cleaners valued at $728.00 on 02/03/13.  Mr. Thompson was charged with Theft of Property under $500 and Theft of Property over $500 and was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held on a $6000 bond.  He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on 02/06/13 to be arraigned.
