On 02-21-13 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Brandon Hopson, 26 years old, 2125 Hickory Springs Rd. Johnson City, TN., for burglary and theft of property over $10,000.00. The arrest is the result of an investigation into a reported burglary at a business, North East Tennessee Real Estate, 2726 E. Oakland Ave., Johnson City, TN. Entry was forced into the business and multiple items of property were stolen that totaled over $10,000.00. A suspect was identified as being Brandon Hopson, who later admitted his involvement in the incident. Hopson is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $10,000.00 bond. A preliminary court date has been set in General Sessions Court in Jonesborough, TN on 02-25-13 at 9:00a.m.
