On February 12, 2013, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested George B. Wesley, 942 Anderson Street, Bristol, Tennessee. Mr. Wesley was charged with Criminal Simulation.
The arrest was the result of an investigation where a counterfeit payroll check was passed at Food City, 125 Judge Gresham Road. The check was passed on January 14, 2013 and was made payable to Mr. Wesley and he used his Tennessee Identification to cash the check. He was also on the store surveillance video system.
Mr. Wesley is being held in the Washington County Detention Center, in lieu of a $10,000.00 bond. He is scheduled to appear in the Washington County General Sessions Court on February 13, 2013 for a scheduled arraignment.
