On 3/20/2013, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Alison C. Albritton, W/F DOB: 10/31/1961, of 913 E Chilhowie Ave Johnson City, TN 37601. The arrest is the result of a shooting incident that occurred at Albritton’s residence on the same date. After a brief investigation, investigators determined a domestic altercation occurred at the Chilhowie Avenue residence. During the altercation, Albritton allegedly fired three shots into her own residence nearly striking two victims related to her. Albritton fled the scene but was stopped by patrol officers a short distance away on Interstate 26. Albritton is charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault under Tennessee’s Domestic Violence law and is being held in lieu of a $50,000.00 bond. Albritton was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where she is scheduled for arraignment in Washington County General Sessions Court on March 21, 2013 at 9:30 AM.
