On March 4, 2013, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Aaron Thomas Taylor, w/m, 04/04/78, 787 Old Embreeville Rd, Jonesborough, TN 37659. The arrest is a result of an investigation where Taylor is accused of taking property from Borla Exhaust Inc while employed there from 10/17/2011 until 02/08/13. Following an investigation, investigators determined that Taylor removed the property which was identified as stainless steel used in production of auto parts and then took the metal to area scrap businesses where it was sold. Taylor is charged with Theft of Property over $1,000.00 and is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $10,000.00 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on April 4, 2013 at 1:30 PM.
