On Tuesday 4/08/14 at approximately 10:55 a.m,  officers of the Johnson City Police Department responded to 924 Pardee St in reference to an assault investigation.  Upon arrival, investigation revealed that Mr. Bobby Hensley, age 41 of General Delivery in Johnson City, had come to the victim’s residence at 924 Pardee St. during the overnight hours of April 5/6.  Mr. Hensley intentionally rammed his vehicle into the side of the victim’s apartment damaging some of the structure.  He then broke out a rear window of the apartment while simultaneously threatening the victim.  Mr. Hensley was able to access the interior of the apartment at this time, where he subsequently held a pocket knife to the victim’s throat while threatening to kill her.  He continued to stay in the apartment until the early morning hours of Sunday April 6, at which time he left in his vehicle.  Mr. Hensley has since been arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Vandalism, and Aggravated Trespassing.  He is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $52,000 bond pending arraignment in General Sessions Court on April 9, 2014 at 1:30 p.m.
