    On 5/16/17, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Travon D. Hintzen of Mims, Florida, 28 years old, and charged him with being a Fugitive from Justice for a Crime in Another State.

At approximately 5:07 p.m., officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the area of 71 Wilson Avenue.  After an NCIC check of the parties involved, it was found that Travon Hintzen had an active arrest warrant out of Titusville, FL, for Burglary.

The domestic disturbance was unfounded and Hintzen was placed under arrest on the Florida warrant. He is being held in the Washington County Detention Center, without bond awaiting extradition back to Titusville, Florida.  His arraignment was scheduled for today, 05/17/17, in Washington County General Sessions Court at 1:30 pm.
