A COLD FRONT WILL PUSH EAST ACROSS THE TENNESSEE RIVER VALLEY AND SOUTHERN APPALACHIANS DURING THE DAY FRIDAY. THE AIR MASS AHEAD OF THE FRONT WILL BE MOIST AND UNSTABLE...LEADING TO THE DEVELOPMENT


OF WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. SOME OF THE THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE DAY FRIDAY MAY BECOME SEVERE. THE MAIN CONCERN WILL BE DAMAGING WINDS. ISOLATED TORNADOES ARE ALSO POSSIBLE. THE BEST CHANCE OF SEVERE STORMS WILL BE ACROSS THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU AND SOUTHEAST TENNESSEE.
